Elbow Strikes

Elbow strikes can be delivered assisted or unassisted. The elbows can be thrown forwards and back. Remember, never step in to deliver the elbow, but if he's already this close, it will help you get out!

Elbows are pointy and generally a strong point of impact. To avoid hurting your "funny bone" the point of impact could be the fore arm or bicep, depending on the direction of your strike. Be sure to torque your body when delivering the blow to add to the power. A strike can be delivered low or high, front or backwards.

Here, the strikes are delivered with the assistance of the other arm. Grasp the fist of the associated elbow with the other hand. Use your entire torso to torque the blow.
