Kubotan use

I only really carry my kubotan for show, as if I am pulled into a confrontation, I show it and the person usually backs off straight away.
But I have had to use it twice in the past. Each time, just a swift hit on the head with it and the person is on the floor. Just so you know what techniques I use with it, it is attached to my keys, and I use a swinging motion, I guess similar to a nun-chuck.
